What have I been doing for the last 40 years?:

Hello. I finally got on the site. I believe there is something wrong with my computer. (Maybe grandkids playing too many games.)What have I been doing for the past 40 years. I married my high school sweethart (Roger). We have been happily married for 38 years. We have three beautiful daughters (Lori Hendrshot 35 (Marketing Specialist for Simonton Windows) (Melissa Hartline 32 Elementary Teacher) and (Katherine Hendershot 29 RN for Marietta Memorial Hospital in the OB Department)5 grandchildren, Dylan Hartline (7) Emma Hartline(6) Gracie Hartline (2) Leigha Hendershot (6) Matilyn Hendersot (4). I was a stay at home mom for 13 years and then I decided to work outside the home. I have worked at the Easter Seal Society for nine years. Very rewarding. Then Washington County Career Center in the Adult Techinal Training office as the Financial Aid Director. Then in 2005 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and in 2006 I was granted Disability Retirement from SERS. It was very hard for me to leave my job, but the best thing for me to do. Roger retired in 2005 after 30 years of teaching and we now watch our grandchildren. We were hoping we could go camping more, but that hasn't happened too often. We sometimes feel that we are just too old for these little legs which run circles around us. Especially me. But I couldn't be happier. I do not let the MS get me down.

I have really enjoyed this web site. Although, I have to admit seeing the classmates who have passed away was a little upsetting to me. They were just too young.

I wish everyone the very best.
