  • WHEN...Saturday, July 2 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm social hour / 7:00 Dinner * Baked Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad, Bread, Dessert ** cash bar available WHERE...Elks Lodge 404 2nd Ave (upstairs) Casual dress COST...$ 20.00 single, $ 35.00 couple * payment with registration required On Friday, July 1, we will be gathering at the Colony Club (Old Colony Theatre) on Second Ave from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for a casual get together. They will show old pictures of our times at GAHS if you can get them to us by the deadline.(You pay for anything you eat or drink)

  • Please bring any memorabilia you might still have , and we are also going to set up a Memorial Table for those classmates that have passed. Let us know if you have any information, or obituaries that we can use. Send your updated pictures and info to John Carmichael @ as soon as possible!

What have I been doing for the last 40 years?:


Married to Carolyn Swain class of 1972 for 38 glorious years.Three children Jesse geographer,Nicholas water economist,Sara nutritionist soon to be dietitian.Work 1971 to 1974 US Army medic operating room technician,EMT.

1974 t0 1978 BS in Nursing from Ohio state.1978 Commissioned Officer Registered Nurse Shiprock and Crownpoint Indian Health Service Hospitals Navajo Nation NM. Master of Science in Nursing University of Tennesse at Knoxville as Family Nurse Practitioner. I have spent 8 years in underserved areas of Eastern Kentucky providing primary care to the underserved I also spent years providing primary health care on Indian reservations in North Carolina Nevada Oklahoma Texas Montana.I retired after 20 years as a commisssioned Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service at he rank of Commander.I subquently opened two primary Care Clinics which I spend 1/2 day at each and circuit ride between them a 68 mile loop.I am the only provider for the last 15 years.I love my job and the people I serve. This reunion is very important to me .Not a day goes by that I don,t think about my classmates at GAHS. I am shutting my clinics down in Southern Oregon Merrill and Bonanza and taking the red eye getting to Columbus at midnight. I look forward to seeing all of you and reconnecting. If your in town and want to get together call me on my cell phone. I am appreciative of those who worked hard to make this happen and hope we can share this precious window of time together.
