What have I been doing for the last 40 years?:

I have lived in Kentucky my entire adult life. My husband, Mike is an attorney in Erlanger. We have been married 36 years. We have one son Michael, 27. I have been a Special Education teacher for 36 years and a summer preschool teacher for the past 5 years. I will retire after this year. Teaching has been a very rewarding experience, every day brings a new experience and I will miss it very much.

My immediate family still live in Gallipolis. I am very close with my family in Gallipolis and try to get "home" as often as possible. I also have many wonderful close friends who are like family here in Kentucky.

We were members of Lakeside Christian Church for 25 years where I was active in the church orchestra playing the flute. Recently we joined the Florence Christian Church and are slowly are getting involved.

I love to stay busy, of course during the year, school takes up a majority of my day. In addition I spend time with my husband, I sew, I read, I go out with friends, and love to work on projects. Retirement will be a challenge for me. Any suggestions?

9/10/11 It was wonderful to see our friends/classmates at the reunion. If you missed it you missed out on a wonderful evening. I had a great time. Thanks to all who organized the reunion. Melanie
