What have I been doing for the last 40 years?:

Married to classmate Roger Burnett in 1972. We had two absolutely gorgeous daughters, Autumn and Amberr.

Most times we were at school more than home. I was the loyal PTO Mom who held every office, sometimes more than once. Roger coached summer softball. Both girls played 3 sports once they reached junior high. We hosted so many slumber parties that you would have thought we were the local orphanage. But we had as much fun as the kids did.

Roger worked at the Bob Evans Plant in Gallipolis which burned in 1990, thus prompting our move to Springfield in 1992 where he is the plant manager. The girls attended Kenton Ridge HS, whose sports emphasis started the season with "when we make it to state". Autumn was fortunate to travel to state for volleyball both of her years at KR. Autumn graduated from Wittenberg University in 1998 and planned to continue on to law school. Sadly, we lost Autumn in 2000 after the birth of her first child. Her son, Colton, now eleven and his dad, Greg, live in Dayton and are doing great.

Our youngest daughter, Amberr, and her family live in Springfield. Amberr graduated from travel school and scheduled government travel at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. After the birth of her children, she now works from home for a company based in Dayton. Her husband, Tony, is an investment banker and VP for Huntington Bank. Haley is 8 and will be a 3rd grader at St. Theresa Elementary School. Simon is 4 and knows everything. Because he said so!

My career has dealt largely with debt collection. I collected delinquent accounts for a private attorney and for Wright Patterson Credit Union. Like my sons-in-law, I, too, was a banker. I managed the collection dept. for a bank with 16 branches. I've personally repossessed cars, stolen a few, filed foreclosure, started lawsuits, gone to court and have quite a few stories to tell along the way! I am presently working in Cincinnati with Sallie Mae collecting on student loans.

Unfortunately, Roger and I divorced in 2008 after 36 years of marriage. Very heart wrenching experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I have always considered myself to be a strong woman but soon found out just how fragile I was. BUT, I was determined to find a silver lining so I get up everyday, put one foot in front of the other and by the grace of God, I'm still here! Some days are harder than others but that's when Pam puts on her "big girl panties" and somehow "it" works! I'm pretty proud of the fact that I purchased a home all by myself last year. Built in 1906 with 19 rooms, I call it my "little" piece of heaven! And that, my friends, is the life and times of Pam Clagg Burnett..............
